Talking with Trees and Animals

Connecting with Living Things is what I do... Don't you? šŸ˜‰

Many years ago I lived in a home with wonderful, angelic friends.

We all sought to be intuitive, to use our gifts to love and serve others, and we loved healthy and natural things - including ALL living things.

It was beautiful.

One day, one of them brought home a little pet turtle, and we ended up naming him ā€œMosesā€œ.

He was a cute little guy, and I was certainly enamored with him!

One sunny afternoon, when no one else was home, I was in the living room talking with my mother on the phone while lying on the floor - the sun pouring through the large window.

Moses had been wandering around the house, and I had noticed that he had parked himself on the other side of the living room in front of the couch.

He sat there, perfectly still… for what seemed like hours… no movement at all… enjoying the warmth and peaceful Spirit in the home.

So cozy…

After I finished my somewhat long conversation with my mother, I rested my head on my hands while lying on the warm carpet, looking over at Moses

I lovingly smiled as I gazed at him, and said quietly,

ā€œHey Moses, why don’t you come on over here and give me a kiss?ā€œ

To my joy and surprise, he slowly turned his head and looked me straight in the eyes.

He then turned his whole body in my direction, and waddled towards me all the way across the room.

He crawled right up onto my hand, and proceeded to lovingly kiss me… ON THE LIPS! 😳

I’m not joking…

I could feel the puffs of breath as he gently tapped my skin a few times with his mouth.

I sat there frozen - in pure shock and bliss - as I experienced the reality of him not only KISSING ME,

but also hearing me and responding to my obvious invitation.

It was AMAZING!

After he gave me a few smooches, he turned his head and rubbed his cheek up against mine,

and we snuggled for a moment.

It melted me… I was in absolute HEAVEN.

šŸ’™ Ahhhh, sweet Moses. šŸ’™

There was another time when I was out for a jog in my friend’s neighborhood,

and came across a very large pasture.

There were a bunch of lovely cows gathered on the far side, away from the road I was jogging on.

I stopped and came up close to the fence and started talking to the cows, hoping they could hear me.

I waved to them, and invited them all over for a meeting. ā˜ŗļø

I spoke to them about many things as they slowly be meandered in my direction.

And then of course, I welcomed each of them with a song. šŸŽµ

I don’t remember what I started singing, but I sang with lots of love and exuberance,

hoping they would enjoy the sound.

And they sure did!

Their pace picked up as they focused on me with eager eyes and ears.

They literally lined up in front of me, all in a row, waiting to hear what I would say next.

What an audience!

There were some stragglers in the back, and they managed to squish themselves in between other cows so that they could be part of the long line forming before me.

It was quite a sight!

We talked for a while, and then I figured I’d better be on my way.

I blew them kiss, thanked them for coming to my special meeting,

and joyfully skipped all the way back to my friend’s house.

I love animals.

…and these are just a couple of stories of how I have connected with them throughout my life.

Now let’s talk about Trees.

Trees are my friends, and I absolutely adore them.

Not just trees but all plants and living things.

And they are living… which means that they have life energy and intelligence within them.

Just like us.

They respond joyfully to Love,

and can also shut down and die when exposed to negative emotions and energies…

So of course I’m gonna shower them with Love.

Don’t you? šŸŒ±šŸ’š

They have feelings too.

Long ago, when I was helping care for my niece when she was just a baby, I would stroll her around the neighborhood, and make sure that we stopped to love on the trees.

I had her touch the bark, the branches, and the leaves… and we would stop to notice every little thing.

She was in awe and wonder of it all… as was I! Every. Time.

I of course encouraged her to say ā€œhelloā€ to them and even give them hugs. They were our friends!

(Yep… I’m a tree hugger. ā˜ŗļø)

I always sent them love and appreciation for their strength, their shade, their beauty -

I loved how they helped me feel grounded.

It was very healing for me.

I often stop to appreciate beautiful flowers, gorgeous trees, and the many unique and interesting plants -

they are works of art to me.

They are sitting there just waiting to be appreciated, adored, and enjoyed.

So… Every horse, every puppy and kitty and elephant… every plant and stone, every structure and formation…

I connect with.

I notice the beauty in every living thing, and I take the time to honor and love them.

Creation. It’s all alive to me.

So… Next time you’re out and about, take a moment to pay attention to the beauties Mother Nature has created… and talk to them.

Send them some love, and thank them for showing up for you in such a beautiful way.

They’ll appreciate it.

And if you have the chance to look into the eyes of a majestic animal, whether big or tiny,

stop to acknowledge them.

Send them your love, and let them know you see them and that you care.

They’ll appreciate it.
